Legal notice — Encoder configurator

The configurator, its calculation engine, the interface, texts, graphics, the generated order code and the database of products and equivalences are the exclusive property of Italsensor S.r.l. and are protected by copyright and applicable laws.

The database is additionally protected by the sui generis database right (Directive 96/9/EC), being the result of a substantial investment in obtaining, verifying and organising data from official datasheets.

Without written authorisation the following are prohibited: extraction and/or re-utilisation of all or a substantial part of the database; automated scraping; copying, decompilation, reverse engineering, reproduction or creation of derivative works of the tool or its contents.

Trademarks, names and product codes of other manufacturers that may be mentioned (e.g. SICK, Heidenhain, Kübler, Baumer, Hengstler, Pepperl+Fuchs, Lika, Eltra, Autonics, Omron, POSITAL, TR Electronic and others) are the property of their respective owners.

Such trademarks are used solely for identification and technical comparison purposes (lawful comparative advertising under Directive 2006/114/EC), to indicate an equivalent or alternative Italsensor product. Italsensor is not affiliated with, sponsored by or authorised by these manufacturers, and there is no commercial relationship between the parties.

The proposed equivalences are indicative and based on form/fit/function (standard formats, technology, interface, resolution): they are not a certified “drop-in” replacement. Exact mechanical and electrical compatibility must be verified against the datasheets before ordering.

The configurator’s results (resolution, frequency, interface, order code, proposed models) are indicative and provide decision support, not a guarantee of fitness for the specific application. They do not replace the user’s own technical verification and sizing.

Functional safety levels (SIL/PL) and protection ratings are indicative: the required level must be confirmed by the machine risk assessment and applicable standards.

Italsensor accepts no liability for decisions made solely on the basis of the tool’s results. For final confirmation, contact the Italsensor technical office.

Calculations run entirely in the user’s browser: the entered parameters are not transmitted to or stored on Italsensor servers. Data leaves the device only if the user voluntarily submits a quotation request (in which case the site privacy policy applies).
